PREMIERE: A multifandom juxtaposition of queer relationships in media, from those that are unambiguously canon to those put under the banner of “queerbaiting,” from the artistic indie to the “trashy” teen melodrama. Exploring themes of love, loss, selfishness, and intimacy, this video aims to trace aesthetic and emotional continuities among dramatic popular film and television portrayals of queer affection/touch/relationality.
